According to the advice of pediatricians, children should not spend more than 2 hours a day on TV screens and computer monitors.
Also, experts do not recommend installing a TV and a computer with Internet access in the children’s room.
According to recent studies published in the journal Pediatrics, in the modern world, an 8-year-old child spends eight hours a day in front of a screen of various devices, and the teen spends 11 hours before the screens of media devices, three-quarters of teens currently have cell phones.
As noted by pediatricians in their study, excessive time spent at the monitors of various devices, negatively affects the health of the child. For example, children in a room with a TV set are more likely to suffer from obesity.
Pediatricians are advised, in addition to limiting the time spent on TV screens and computer monitors, to completely shield children under two years from interacting with media devices. Specialists also recommend that parents watch TV and movies with children in order to control the content of the videos they watch. The family should also have a clear regulation on the use of the Internet, restrictions on the use of cellular communication by the child.

Therefore, it is on the shoulders of parents that they are responsible for the child’s educational process. Unfortunately, no state has any methods of controlling how the educational process takes place in the family of a person.
