The Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology established the Committee for Infection Control

In order to create epidemiologically safe conditions for patients and medical personnel, the Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology established the Committee for Infectious Diseases, which includes specialists with the highest qualification category.

Specific instructions and methodological instructions, procedures for implementing specific measures for infection control and algorithms for performing therapeutic and diagnostic manipulations, taking into account the infectious safety of patients and employees, have been developed for all departments of the Center clinic.

On the basis of the clinic, there is a microbiological laboratory that ensures the timely detection of possible sources of infection from the external environment of the Center.

In addition, an adequate policy of using antibiotics, antiseptics and other agents for the treatment and prevention of purulent infections is applied, taking into account the microbiological data on the resistance of excretory pathogens and evaluating its effectiveness.

The Center has modern equipment for disinfection and sterilization of medical devices, and when using medical and diagnostic procedures, one-time medical products are used as much as possible, modern disinfectants are safe for patients and employees.
