Actual questions to the draft Concept of Gender and Family Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030 were discussed at the meeting

At the head of the Vice Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakupova S., public hearings were held on family planning and reproductive health of citizens in the framework of the drafting of the Concept on Gender and Family Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030.

In the continuation of this event in Almaty on the basis of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology there was a working meeting attended by: Director of the Center Aktaeva LM, Chairperson of the Association of Women with Disabilities “Shyrak” Kaltaeva L., Chairman of the Board League of Women of Creative Initiatives Khairullina A., executive director of the Kazakhstan Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health Grebennikova GA

The participants formed a number of specific proposals on the formation of public opinion in support of the institution of the family, the principles of its planning, the protection of one’s own health; A regional approach to the development of the obstetric-gynecological service and its modernization; To improve the quality of care; On the revision of medical and social indications for abortion in order to reduce maternal mortality; On the health of older people to improve and prolong their active life.
