Today, in September 27 of 2016, in the assembly hall among the staff of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, an explanatory work was conducted on the topic: “What should the public know about insurance?”,
At the beginning of his speech, the speaker: epidemiologist Marat Askarov noted that “the introduced insurance system in Kazakhstan is developed taking into account international experience and it allows to get citizens the maximum range of medical assistance.”

During the event, explanations were given on the provision of 2 types of package of medical services: guaranteed amount of free medical care, mandatory social medical insurance for all citizens of the country; Realization of state contributions for citizens of special categories, the total amount of the contribution rate of employers and workers, self-employed citizens.

We remind you that the system of compulsory social health insurance will begin to operate from January 1, 2017, which will allow citizens to undergo examination or receive treatment without spending cash from their own pocket.
